About Andersen
Hi! I'm Andersen, an Ontario Certified Teacher who loves helping students grow in confidence and discover that learning can be enjoyable. I have experience supporting students across the elementary grades and understand that every child learns differently.
I specialize in elementary literacy, including Science of Reading-aligned instruction, as well as math support for students in Kindergarten to Grade 8. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and celebrate their successes.
I believe that students learn best when lessons are engaging and connected to their interests. Whenever possible, I incorporate interest-based activities into our sessions—whether your child loves sports, animals, Minecraft, art, or anything in between! By connecting learning to what students already enjoy, I help make lessons meaningful, motivating, and fun.
I look forward to partnering with families to support each child's unique learning journey and help them reach their full potential.

My lessons are personalized to meet each student's unique strengths, needs, and learning goals. As an Ontario Certified Teacher, I create engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning experiences that build both academic skills and confidence. I specialize in elementary literacy, including Science of Reading-aligned instruction, as well as mathematics support for students in Kindergarten to Grade 8. Lessons are hands-on, interactive, and tailored to each learner's pace, ensuring students feel successful, motivated, and empowered to reach their full potential. Although I spend most of my time in the elementary panel, I am confident in supporting learning K-12.
