About Meghan
Hello! My name is Meghan, I have ten years of classroom teaching experience and twelve years of private tutoring experience. I am passionate about both mathematics and education. Outside of classes my hobbies include swimming, camping, kayaking, baking, coding, and making my own SFX makeup.
I have my Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours) with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and my Bachelor of Education with a focus on students with special educational needs from Queen's University. I hold teaching certifications in Ontario and British Columbia.
I have taught Math and Computer Science in secondary schools in England and Canada, and have tutored students from kindergarten to university level. I spent my last year in UK as the Head of the Mathematics Department at a school for students with Developmental Language Disorder.

Mathematics is a universal language that allows us to better understand and explore our natural world. This language is sophisticated and takes time, patience, and practice to master.
My extensive mathematical knowledge along with my accomplished background in education allows me to take multiple approaches to explain any concept, and students always leave a session with additional resources to further their practice independently.
I am available to tutor students from kindergarten to university level in all types of Mathematics. Please do not hesitate to reach out!

Meghan is an excellent calculus and vectors tutor. She is very responsive and quite flexible. My daughter has indicated that she is able to clearly explain how to break down the problem and the required steps to solve it. She’s been a real great support system for her and her marks are definite proof of that! We’d definitely recommend Meghan!
Meghan has such a genuine passion and enthusiasm for her subject that really shines through - as a result her teaching was a real positive and so well-received. She is super-efficient and highly organized. Highly recommended!
Meghan tutored my sons during their final year of high school math courses. Both of them achieved higher than expected final grades in all courses.View more recommendations
