About Sivananda Himalaya
An intensively trained and deeply devoted Yoga teacher, Pooja has been immersed in the practice and study of Yoga for over a decade. Her genuine passion for the yogic lifestyle and Ayurveda led her to dive into this ancient wisdom—not just as a practitioner, but as an educator dedicated to preserving and sharing its traditional roots.
Pooja holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, and is certified with TTC and ATTC from the globally respected Sivananda Ashram in India. She has also trained at S-VYASA Yoga University in Bangalore, and holds multiple accreditations in Yoga and Acupressure Therapy. she completed a residency in the Vedanta Sadhaka Course at the esteemed Chinmaya Mission in Kerala.
Her teaching journey has taken her across the world, where she has shared the transformative power of Yoga with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Described as humble, holistic, and deeply spiritual, Pooja’s approach integrates the physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions of Yoga. Her primary aim is to practice and teach Yoga and Vedanta in their purest, most authentic form, residing amidst the serene mountains, she draws inspiration from the tranquility of nature, integrating its wisdom into her teachings.
