Online student-led and SEND inclusive History and Religious Studies tuition from primary to degree level by a PhD qualified academic.

Nicola helped my daughter with her GCSE History. Nicola improved Jess's confidence resulting in improvement from grade 3 in mocks to a grade 5 which was a major achievement as Jess has been home schooled and is neurodiverse. Nicola was well prepared for every lesson, and taught in a way Jess understood. I would definitely recommend Nicola as a brilliant tutor.

Nicola is thorough and diligent. She has a good general knowledge of her subject and a patient and flexible approach to engaging with learners.

After completing a degree in social sciences specialising in psychology, including developmental psychology, I went on to work at Red Balloon, a charity for people who struggled with mainstream schooling where I had the opportunity to learn educational theory and work with tutors. Nicola's ability to understand educational theory and her academic insight is very high. As I have observed and occasionally collaborated with her in advancing her own child's education in diverse subjects and through imaginative methods, I am particularly impressed by her ability to express complicated ideas clearly, and to encourage a joy in learning.

Nicola is very conscientious and very clear in explaining complex ideas in a straightforward way. I have known Nicola for a decade and supervised her PhD.
