My desire to become a teacher stems from my deep passion for mathematics, a subject that has influenced my problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and overall confidence. I am motivated by the prospect of sharing this enthusiasm with upcoming generations, guiding them to appreciate both the practical applications and inherent beauty of mathematics. Specializing in providing support to students preparing for SQA qualifications at school. With a keen focus on enhancing students' readiness and confidence in exams, I offer tailored 1-hour lessons focusing on problem-solving techniques, dissecting past papers, and consolidating understanding of the course material. Through targeted practice sessions and meticulous analysis of past exam papers, students gain an intuition of the exam structure and question patterns. Beyond surface-level understanding, I strive to foster a deeper comprehension of the subject, ensuring that students not only tackle exams effectively but also carry a lasting, holistic understanding of mathematics.
I am currently a MMath student at the University of Edinburgh and attained 4 As in SQA Advanced Highers.
