About Priscilla
Hello! I'm Priscilla, an online Mathematics tutor who is passionate about helping young learners discover that mathematics can be both understandable and enjoyable.
I work with students aged 5 to 14, supporting them as they build strong mathematical foundations, overcome learning challenges, and grow in confidence. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their pace, strengths, and individual learning needs.
As a Google Certified Educator Level 1, I use effective digital teaching tools and interactive strategies to create engaging online lessons that keep students motivated and actively involved in their learning. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence that extends beyond the classroom.
I am committed to creating a positive, patient, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to strengthen key concepts, or is preparing for school assessments, I look forward to helping them achieve their goals.

I believe every child can succeed in mathematics when lessons are tailored to their individual learning style. My teaching approach focuses on building understanding before memorization, helping students develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a genuine appreciation for the subject.
My lessons are interactive, engaging, and adapted to each learner's needs. I use clear explanations, guided practice, visual examples, real-life applications, and regular formative assessments to identify learning gaps and track progress. Rather than simply giving answers, I encourage students to think critically and explain their reasoning so they develop lasting mathematical understanding.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the student's age, learning goals, and attention span. Each lesson includes a review of previous concepts, explicit teaching of new skills, guided practice, independent activities, and constructive feedback to reinforce learning.
I am an experienced online tutor and a Google Certified Educator Level 1, with experience teaching Mathematics to primary and lower secondary students. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence.
My lessons are designed for learners aged 5 to 14, including primary school pupils and lower secondary students.
