As an MPhil graduate in Mathematics, I bring both academic depth and practical experience to my teaching. My approach is focused on developing a strong conceptual understanding while enhancing problem-solving skills. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level and learning style, ensuring clarity, confidence, and progress.
**Teaching Method and Techniques**
* I begin by assessing the student’s current understanding, identifying gaps, and planning lessons accordingly.
* I use interactive digital tools (virtual whiteboard, screen sharing, and handwritten notes) to deliver content effectively in online settings.
* My explanations are step-by-step and example-driven, ensuring that students grasp both theory and application.
* I encourage active participation through guided problem-solving and critical thinking exercises.
**Typical Lesson Plan**
1. **Quick recap** of the previous session.
2. **Clear explanation** of the new topic with relevant examples.
3. **Interactive practice session** with real-time feedback.
4. **Mini-assessment** or problem set to reinforce learning.
5. **Summary and guidance** for independent practice or the next session.
**What Sets Me Apart**
* MPhil in Mathematics with strong command over advanced mathematical topics.
* Experience teaching students at secondary, intermediate, and university levels.
* Friendly, disciplined, and student-centered teaching approach.
* Ability to simplify complex topics using relatable techniques and visuals.
* Proven success in helping students prepare for exams like O/A Levels, SAT, ECAT, and university assessments.
**Who My Lessons Are For**
* Secondary and Higher Secondary Students (Matric, Inter, O/A Levels)
* University Students (BS/BSc Mathematics and related courses)
* Entry Test Aspirants (ECAT, SAT, GRE, etc.)
* Students who need concept clarification, assignment help, or exam preparation
If you are looking for a dedicated and qualified tutor to help you succeed in mathematics, I’d be happy to guide you. My goal is to make mathematics not only understandable but enjoyable.
