About Douglas
Hi! I'm Douglas Geronimo, Singing and Harmonica Teacher Graduated in Music by FIAM FAAM in São Paulo - SP. I teach harmonica and Sing since 2005 working in schools, institutes and privately. My teaching approaches the playful development in music. In other words, we learn by playing and singing a lot of music! The technique does not teach anyone anything. It just improves. So all technical education will always be focused on your reality and your interests!

In the course you will have access to: - Teaching material in PDF; - Audios and Videos related to the object of study; - Private group on WhatsApp (student and teacher only) where every class report, teaching content, videos and other materials are posted so you can follow up on your studies; - Personalized approach according to your moment, your needs and musical taste; In harmonica lessons we will cover: - Rhythms: From Blues to Jazz, from Rock to Pop, from Reggae to Samba! All the rhythms that can be played on the harmonica giving that accompaniment effect for you to play along with someone else or a crowd without needing technical mastery in the wind! - Techniques: Embouchure training, breath control, articulation of notes to get a clean, beautiful and healthy sound (yes, the harmonica is a delicate instrument so we have to blow carefully so as not to damage it!); - Melody: Learn the melody of different songs to have fun and impress! - Improvisation: Take the harmonica and create melodies and rhythms with autonomy and creative freedom! Exercises will not be lacking! - Maintenance of the harmonica: The maintenance of the harmonica can sometimes be very simple and, in class, I can help in the process as well as recommend specialized professionals for this

Perfect! Nice Tutor (in personality AND quality). Douglas teaches me what I need to be taught, explains the subject with much detail, and sends me useful licks and songs to learn. Even a suggestion for a Diatonic Harmonica book from Amazon inspired by Howard Levy; and I like to look into that kinda thing.

Perfect! Douglas is a very patient tutor. Even when things don’t quite go as planned, he is flexible and able to make things work. He is encouraging and complimentive, while also sensing a student struggling and will quickly give insight on how to correct a problem. He also has great hats.

Great person to be a teacher, very flexible and put together
Initially I was apprehensive about learning an instrument online,but Douglas put all my doubts to rest after the first class with my son . I was definitely very much at ease after the first class ,my son as well ,he is looking forward to work with Douglas on the Harmonica. We are so glad we found Douglas!
