I'm good at plenty of subjects, but I especially enjoy teaching Maths to students who think they don't like the subject. I get great satisfaction when a student who hated Maths begins to enjoy it because they discover they can actually be pretty good at it!

I work with GCSE students only, both in Higher and in Foundation tier. My skill has always been to take the confusion out of a dreaded topic and to break it down and make it as easy as possible.
I tailor my resources to the student. What's good for the class isn't always what's best for the individual. Even a good teacher might not always choose to teach the best method to teach, and if their method doesn't work for you, I'll find something that does. If you consistently look for what works for you and stick with it, it is my experience that you can improve by two or even three grades.
