About David
My name is David, and I’m currently in year 13 applying to Oxford and Imperial to study physics.
I remember the stress of GCSE season and end of year exams in year 12, both of which went amazing thanks to knowing how to study effectively. I can appreciate that it’s daunting having to sit what seems like the most important exam ever, but the truth is once you learn how to revise every test will be an absolute breeze!
Believe it or not, all students are capable of achieving the highest grade, but it all comes with hard work, and my job is to push you to do your best. You got this.

Maths and physics is all about understanding deep concepts and applying ideas you already know to new situations.
Memorising formulae will only get you so far, so an active approach to learning that includes completing past papers and solving difficult questions is the next step to securing that higher grade.
This is exactly what helped me secure grade 9s in my GCSEs and A*s in my A-levels, and familiarising yourself with this type of learning early will give you a massive head start in the transition from GCSE to A-level.
My lessons are all an hour long and online, on a whiteboard where I explain everything in depth at the most appropriate pace so no student gets left behind.
