About Defne
I am a Physics and Astronomy student at Durham University. I have been at classrooms with many different types of students. I have also taught students with different ways of learning. This made me realise that the general hatred towards sciences come from frustration, due to poor methods of teaching. I want to learn from you. I want to learn how you learn best, so I can show you science doesn't have to be frustrating. It can be interesting.

I know learning can be boring sometimes, but I believe that with the right teaching methods (almost) any subject can be interesting:)! I am here to show you that you are capable of achieving your goals with the right guidance.
I believe that concepts in physics and maths should be understood, not memorised. Making learning into a journey makes it more enjoyable. Our lessons will be more like discussions than lectures. I offer lessons anywhere from 50 minutes to two hours.
