About Sophie
Hi, I'm Sophie! I'm a Physics undergraduate at Lancaster University. I've always enjoyed Maths and Physics, and after seeing how the right explanations can make difficult topics click, I'd love the opportunity to help other students experience that too.
I achieved a First in my first year of my Physics degree, an A in A-level Maths and eleven grade 9s at GCSE, including Maths, Physics and Further Maths.
I know from my own experience that everyone learns differently, so I'm patient, approachable and will always encourage students to ask questions. Having recently completed my GCSEs and A-levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and hope to help them build confidence, enjoy learning and achieve the best results they can.

As a Physics undergraduate at Lancaster University, I know that subjects like Maths and Physics can feel challenging, so I will aim to make every lesson clear, engaging and tailored to each student's learning style. I will explain concepts step by step before working through examples and exam-style questions to build both understanding and confidence.
Lessons will typically be one hour long and held online for GCSE Maths and GCSE Physics students. Whether you're aiming to boost your confidence, improve your grades or prepare for exams, I will provide a friendly and supportive learning environment.
