About Amelia
I finished secondary school in 2024 after undertaking A-level French I fell in love with the language and culture. I decided to move to France for a year and work as an Au Pair, this meant that I got to practise my French and experience living in Paris - a very magical city! While living in France I attended courses at the level of the B2 DELF (near fluency) meaning I feel confident communicating and feel able to teach another individual.

My tutoring approach is designed to build both a strong foundation and practical fluency in French. Lessons typically range from 30 to 60 minutes, tailored to the age, level and specific needs of each student. I use a mix of grammar exercises to solidify understanding along with reading, writing and speaking practice. Having achieved Grade 9 GCSE French, B at A-level and working at B2 DELF certification (following a year of immersion in France). My focus is on identifying and addressing the areas where each pupil needs the most support whether they are preparing for exams or aiming for greater confidence when speaking French. I can work with those up to the age of finishing school.
