About Kaylee
I am a former nanny so I have worked with kids mainly. I taught them English and how to read. Once I started my studies at the University of Texas at Austin I became a peer editor which allowed me to help further my editing and proofreading skills while helping my fellow students.

I usually start off my lessons with testing the limits of my students. I want them to talk about their visions for what they want to write and building off of such. I provide many sample essays and creative writing pieces that may help to get a sense of what they could be lacking. As a former nanny, I’m used to kids asking “why?” for everything under the sun so I like to explain to my students WHY we need to include certain phrases or sentences to enhance the deeper meaning behind what we’re working on.
