About André Luiz
I started playing the acoustic guitar when I was 12 years old and I remember exactly all my initial difficulties. Changing chords, reading slowly, depending on a paper in front of me (I keep my folder with more than 100 songs to this day), but the one that almost made me give up was the guitar that slipped off my leg and fell into my lap , making it impossible for me to play :(
The difficulties at the beginning can be many and unusual and I'm here to help you walk!
In my teens I had a band in which most of the arrangements and compositions were done by me. Several songs from our repertoire were played only by us and, one of those reasons, was because these songs usually didn't have a Guitar Pro file around the web. I learned the song, wrote it down and sent it to the band's members, an independence that is priceless. But it was not always like this.
I remember the first song I tried to play by ear was Dance Of Death, by Iron Maiden. Obviously it all went wrong. I had no idea of scales or phrasing or anything, but I tried! And how I tried. A short amount of time later I had already learned The Rover, by Led Zeppelin, completely by ear, all this using simple tricks that I learned by trying and researching. I still use them today and I will teach you with a smile from ear to ear!
I've always loved teaching and, during my livestreams playing guitar on Twitch, someone would always come up with a question about how to play or how to learn to play and I would just stop everything to help. My biggest reward was the person coming back days later thanking me saying that they had managed to learn that song using my tips.
It was with this kind of incentive that I decided, once and for all, to share the knowledge I obtained in all these years of playing!

Learning an instrument can be extremely challenging at first for a variety of reasons, leading many students to drop out within the first month. Starting alone at home can lead you to methods and exercises so boring and ineffective that you would think that studying an instrument has to feel like a school subject.
On the other hand, just learning to play a song or another on 911tabs would make you very dependent on a paper or screen in front of you for the music to happen!
Have you ever thought about learning to really play your instrument using the songs you like and getting to know new things? In addition to the classic exercises, which are extremely important and effective when monitored by a teacher, my method is for you to learn music with music! We will extract from the songs several exercises that will make it easy for you to learn plenty others and even make your own!
