About Douglas
Theoretical and Applied Singing Technique:
- Initialization of the Voice (for those who have never sung in their lives.
voice properties and exercises to release the voice);
- Voice Physiology;
- Training of Vibratos, Merisma and Ornaments;
- Scales, Arpeggios and Vocalizes exercises to tune your voice;
- Stretching and Strengthening of the muscles of the Phoner Apparatus;
- Repertoire adapted to the student's taste, always seeking to improve it;
Keyboard and Piano:
- Key Initialization: Exercises to stretch and strengthen the fingers;
- Music theory for reading scores;
- Scale Training and Arpeggios;
- Repertoire according to the student's reality and taste;
Popular Guitar:
- Guitar initialization;
- Study of Chords, Scales and Arpeggios;
- Repertoire adapted to the student's taste and style;
- Right Hand and Left Hand Techniques;
- If you wish, a little singing technique is applied to
sing along with the guitar;

I try to make the classes a playful and practical exercise and present the instrument to the student in a friendly and calm way. Whether with the voice, guitar or keyboard, I try to start from the repertoire itself so that the person can feel the music right away.
I have been teaching for all ages, genres and musical styles for over 10 years, which made me know several didactic ways (not to mention training as a Licensee) to present the music to the student.

Douglas Geronimo - Music Teacher graduated in Music Degree from FIAM FAAM. I acted and I act in several musical fronts like bands, workshops, events but my specialization is in the teaching area. Thanks to several educational works with bodies such as UNESCO, Paulo Monte Negro Institute and Ação Educativa I found myself directed to transmit my knowledge. Hence my formation in Music Degree. I taught in several schools of Free Courses, Musical Institutes and Private Lessons and always tried to improve my didactics so that the student absorbed in a clear and playful way and content itself. And the most important thing is that this content makes sense and is in communion with the reality of those who want to learn.

O Douglas é meu professor de Gaita à cerca de 3 meses, consegui nesse período ter uma grande evolução. Eu tive problemas com outro professor e quando encontrei o Douglas gostei bastante, ele presta atenção nas minhas dificuldades, ele consegue me escutar e coloca as explicações e os exercícios de uma forma bem fácil de entender e assim poder tocar. Fiz aula de canto com o Douglas em uma escola de música mas não pude continuar por conta da pandemia, então ele começou a me dar aulas a distância por um preço mais em conta.
