After my first chess tournament at the age of 18 and promising performance, I decided I needed to upscale my game, brush up my openings and study the basics of attacking style. When I met Roman, I knew this was the right person to coach me: It is his approachability and experience that make him a great chess coach and a perfect fit for me. I was looking for someone energetic, equally excited about chess with ample tournament experience and I found this in Roman. When previously my openings started with only e4-e5, now I can play Sicilian or Ruy Lopez.
