About Ana
I was homeschooled and had the benefit of one-on-one online tutors, so I understand what makes learning truly effective and enjoyable. As a first-year Zoology student at Monash University, I provide patient, encouraging, and personalized tutoring in biology and environmental science for students aged 11–13, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning at their own pace.

I use a variety of interactive and visual learning techniques to make lessons engaging and effective. For example, I create colourful mind maps, notes, drawings, flashcards, and sometimes slides to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way. I guide students through questions step by step, provide short, clear notes, and focus on areas they find challenging.
I believe in personalised learning: I always ask what study methods work best for the student, and I am happy to re-explain concepts in multiple ways until we find a method that truly clicks. My sessions are patient, supportive, and flexible, ensuring students build confidence while learning at their own pace.
Each lesson lasts 1 to 1.5 hours online, aimed at students aged 11–13 (grades 6–8). I draw on my experience as a first-year Monash University student majoring in Zoology with a minor in Ecology and Conservation, combined with my strong academic background in A-Levels and O-Levels, to provide high-quality, relatable tutoring.
