About Kathryn
I am TESOL certified and have and undergrad in Linguistics as well as post degree certification as a Communications Disorders Assistant. I have professional experience helping children through adults learn English with correct pronunciation. My foundation in Linguistics give me a solid understanding of speech sounds and how to improve clarity in verbal communication.

I like to customize my classes according to the goals of the individual students. When working on accent reduction I try to increase intelligibility through systematically correcting sounds and word choice that can dramatically decrease the likelihood of a breakdown in communication.
