Luka has been a friend and teacher of mine for about a year. We met in a similar capacity as the service this site offers. He was my Number Theory lecturer during my weekly mentored training on Sundays at an Olympiad program. These Sundays always meant learning new methods on tackling the, mostly, beautiful yet difficult problems I might encounter in competitions. Even though I sometimes would get lost in the new ideas he always had a way to paint a clearer picture, for he had also been in my shoes as a competitor a few years prior. It is this recent, and rich, experience that allows him to connect to people who are learning difficult topics for the first time. However, this was not clear to me at the beginning—after all, I had just met him. But, that changed when he explained the many difficult results in the underlying ideas of Gaussian Integers and Unique Factorisation Domains as a whole. I had been trying to wrap my head around them for a week by myself unsuccessfully, until one Sunday morning it all clicked. He mentioned a personal anecdote that he was taught at university that also resonated with me. It is this application of personal experience, patience, and relatability that make him a world class teacher!

Luka is one of the most knowledgeable young mathematicians from North Macedonia. His hard work and determination are evident in his many accomplishments, including completing his undergraduate studies a year ahead of schedule. He has a genuine passion for mathematics and, more importantly, an ability to share that passion with others. Luka is also an excellent communicator; he is engaging, approachable, and always ready with an extra story that makes a conversation more memorable.
