About Katie
I have been OBSESSED with all things music from a young age. At 6 I took up guitar, at 8 started playing flute and at 12 began playing alto saxophone. After winning numerous group music competitions with multiple schools on flute, I began seriously playing alto saxophone in grade 10. I was able to master the instrument within about a year and soon became famous for my jazz solos. During this time, I also began playing bass guitar. Graduating from high school, I won a music scholarship and have greatly missed playing in a both a concert and jazz band since!

Depending on where everyone is in their music journey, we will start with music reading and expression. We will also work on breathing exercises to help you play your best. From there, we will move into whatever aspect where help is needed.
