About Kayla
I am a University student based in Tulsa Oklahoma. I have been teaching bluegrass banjo with Bishline Banjos in Tulsa since 2016, as well as tutoring and teaching classical violin. My students range from 5 years old to retirement age, all with a desire and capacity to learn and grow through music!

My lessons focus on cleanliness and developing techniques applicable to a wide range of pieces. As a traditionally trained classical violinist, I use classical techniques in lessons with my banjo students. This method has been very effective in producing competent musicians. Although I focus primarily on technical ability with my students, I also work to ensure that they grow in their appreciation and enjoyment for learning their instrument by offering encouragement and support.
