My approach to tutoring is to make lessons clear, relaxed and suited to each student. I focus on explaining difficult topics in simple terms, then use questions, examples and exam-style practice to make sure the student understands the content rather than just memorising it. For Psychology and Sociology, I can also help with essay structure, applying studies and theories, evaluation, and exam technique.
Lessons are usually 1 hour, but I can be flexible depending on the student’s needs. I achieved A* grades in both A-Level Psychology and Sociology and can share the notes, flashcards, revision and exam techniques that worked for me.
My lessons are aimed mainly at GCSE and A-Level students, particularly students who want extra help with understanding topics, improving their essays or preparing for exams.
