About Gabriel
My high school was attended at Anglo College, Campinas, providing me with a good foundation of education focused on college entrance exams. In higher education, I initially joined the USP to study Astronomy, but I ended up transferring myself to the Physics degree of the same university. I made this decision because I noticed a great deficiency in the quality and depth of the teaching of Physics and Mathematics in the previous degree and, moreover, because I currently do scientific initiation in more theoretical applications of Astrophysics, involving simulations of Supermassive Black Holes. I am still a beginner in private classes, having worked in a reinforcement school in São Paulo, aimed at students with difficulties, especially in the Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

I have a lot of passion for what I do and I always strive to convey this enthusiasm to the student, regardless of their rhythm, their base or their way of learning. My goal is to make the student really understand what lies behind concepts and equations in a much deeper and more lasting way than simply memorizing the content taught. I do it in a friendly way, through deductions, analogies and applications, always attentive to what is being expected from the student in the exercises. I am very organized with my work and I worry about optimizing the time of the class, being important that the student clarifies to me in advance what content I must teach, and also showing me some exercises of the textbook used in the course. As important to me as making sure the content is being passed with clarity is for me to engage with the student at all times, as to make sure that he/she is being able to follow my explanations and that I am adapting to their way of learning. As for the content taught by me, I can cover without difficulty all the Physics and Mathematics syllabus from elementary and middle schools, as well as some subjects from the undergraduate level in those areas.
