I focus on using diagrams and other forms of visual learning to effectively convey the big picture concepts with attention to the more minor details. When given advance notice, I will find the best diagrams possible and utilize computer software to make notes and additional images to ensure that any student understands the concepts they are looking to learn.
My lessons are primarily for AP students and college students, but I am willing to teach anyone looking to understand biological concepts.

Very knowledgeable about biology and went out of his way to ensure I understood the material being taught.
Colin has helped me with both micro biology as well as chemistry and not only did I understand the material better but my grades went up too! He explained it in a way that was best for me and did not get frustrated when I took longer to get something or would ask too many questions.
Colin is a motivating and effective teacher, who constantly keeps lessons engaging. He is incredibly patient, and willing to answer many questions as well as help students fully understand the material. His passionate for biology is almost contagious, and I recommend him highly.
