About Chris
I am a friendly and approachable French tutor with a strong academic background, having graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Law and French before completing an MSc at the University of Oxford.
I have studied French throughout my education, lived and studied in Toulouse, and worked professionally in French at the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg. I bring both strong academic credentials and real-world experience using French, and I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive and tailored to each student.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s level and goals, combining conversation, grammar, vocabulary and written exercises. For exam students, I also focus on exam technique, essay writing and speaking practice.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and are suitable for GCSE, A-Level, university students and adult learners, from beginner to advanced level.
I studied French throughout my undergraduate degree, lived and studied in Toulouse, and worked professionally in French at the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg. This gives me experience using French in both academic and professional settings.
