About Daniil
I am a very approachable, understanding, and adaptable person. I love playing sport, managing to balance playing Premier Basketball while also being a top academic achiever throughout High School. I've coached Tennis for over 3 years now and work with kids of all ages and experiences. A big part of why I want to tutor is that I've seen firsthand, the vast benefits it has on a child, not only in the classroom and report card, but also allowing them to grow as a person. That's why I believe it's important for me to be more of a 'mentor' rather than a 'teacher'.

Having multiple years of experience with tutoring, as well as running my own tutoring company, I can provide assurance that your child will be learning content in the most effective ways possible, those relevant to the modern landscape of education and younger generations at large. I've taught and am available for tutoring for ages 7 to 15 at any level, specializing in preparing students for High School and NCEA. How I teach will be specific to your child and how they learn, as I believe that tutoring should be the improved alternative over the traditional school system which generalizes people into a tight box. As aforementioned, I have achieved Excellence Endorsement at all 3 levels of NCEA, having won the Gold Award twice, while also managing to achieve multiple scholarships, both NCEA and University Specific. Lesson lengths will vary from 30 - 60 minutes, depending on the age and attention span of your child, with 60-minute lessons having a 5-minute break in between to ensure they learn optimally. I've taught and offer lessons in general and NCEA Mathematics (specializing in Statistics), English (reading, spelling, and writing) as well as General Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, and Physics).
