About Diya
Hi! I'm Diya, and I graduated with an IB 43. I'm an incoming freshman studying economics at NYU. I'm deeply interested in behavioral economics, and I hope to work in research in this field.
My strongest (and favorite) IB subjects were the ones that I tried to understand and absorb, not force myself to memorize. I want to help students find the same passion for learning by putting myself in their shoes and teaching them in ways that are interesting, practical, and engaging. Learning shouldn't feel intimidating, and my lessons will include personalized feedback, notes, resources, and guidance to make sure you truly appreciate the content you learn :)

My lessons will be supplemented by my own extensive notes, coursework, writing samples, and more. My goal is to teach with patience by breaking down complex ideas in a way that is easily digestible for students. I will be patient and compassionate, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions and focus on improving their weaknesses. My goal is to help you not just improve your grades, but make you interested in the subjects that'll shape your future!
