About Gary
Hi! I’m Gary, an NYU Economics student with a strong background in math and analytical thinking. I love helping younger students build confidence and curiosity in math through clear explanations and step-by-step guidance. My lessons focus on understanding the “why” behind each concept, making math less intimidating and more intuitive. With experience mentoring and explaining complex topics simply, I create a supportive, patient environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and enjoy learning.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding before moving to problem-solving. I help students see why math works — not just how to do it.
