About Gabriel
I am a student of Alan Feinberg, focussing on standard and contemporary repertoire. I have had additional studies in Italy and Germany. I have taught over 40 piano students of all levels and ages over the last six years and several others in music theory and composition. I have thirteen years experience playing piano and am a part of a variety of chamber music groups—from Baroque to Contemporary, duets to large ensembles.

I rely heavily on building the student's ear so they can understand the music as it is meant to be—by listening! I tailor my approach to the individual student and do not use cookie-cutter method books. I believe that the student is best served when the teacher addresses their specific goals and issues. I value technique, not for tradition's sake, but to keep a the student playing healthily and without injury for years at the piano to come!
