About Lauren
Howdy! I'm an APRN FNP with 8 years of nursing experience total. The first six as an RN working in a variety of areas including critical care (ICU, PCU, and IMC), cardiac and neuro, pediatrics, and med-surg. I graduated from nursing school and my grad program cum laude and summa cum laude. I enjoy tutoring nursing students in the LVN, RN, and MSN programs and have done so for years. We recently moved and I'm looking forward to re-establishing myself as a tutor in my new area.

Nursing school tutoring for LVN, RN, & MSN students. A typical session: As a tutor I like to begin and end the session with an open question/answer time about any and all topics whether that relates to their clinicals or classwork or balancing nurse-life with family-life. I try to keep the middle portion of the sessions focused on a specific topic they are preparing for. I have always found that most nursing topics are best approached in part by book learning and in part by discussing clinical situations. I have always valued practical use & application.
