About Diana
I am a nursing educator of many years and have taught many students, teaching at Nursing Schools (3 year diploma) and at Universities (Bachelor of Nursing 3 years). I have a passion for nursing and help inspire students to share this passion. I work in the practice setting with the students. I have had many years in the practice setting, in hospitals, clinics and in the Outback of Australia

My teaching methods are various, using films, short Youtube. I ask the student to draw, color in and label the various parts of the body. We will find the body parts like bones, joints and muscles on themselves. I use colorful posters and draw on a white board. I like to do Brain gym before the lesson to help activate and integrate the right and left brains. I like to use flash cards in a game to help remember the new long words. I will send my own notes to each student. Repetition is essential to learning. I encourage self-directed study. I also help with the breakdown of each new word, so the student knows how to pronounce them.
