About Shannon
I’ve always enjoyed teaching numeracy and maths and in schools it’s different to tailor the learning to each child’s needs. Some children learn visually and some learn by being hands on and it’s important to play to the child’s strengths and the best way they learn and with tutoring this is possible as the lessons is one on onewith your child where the approach can be tailored to suit the child’s best way to learn.

I have worked with children aged 2-16, as an LSA, then a literacy coordinator and now a numeracy coordinator and I want to help children realise that Math isn’t scary and it can be fun!!
Sessions will include identifying their weakest areas and building knowledge and confidence through fun, interactive and engaging ways.
Lessons will last an hour and support will be available in-between lessons, resources can also be provided which will be tailored to your child’s needs.
Lessons are £20 an hour with a free 30 minute introductory lesson to get to know your child and to know their interests which can be incorporated into the lessons to make it as tailored and personalised as possible for your child.
