About Tiana
My name is Tiana, and I am a passionate English tutor dedicated to helping students feel confident, capable, and supported in their learning. I completed the HSC with English Extension 2, Extension 1, and English Advanced, achieving the highest level of English offered in NSW. I have been tutoring for over three years, working with students of all abilities, and I bring both experience and the insight of a recent graduate who understands the current curriculum and assessment expectations. I pride myself on being patient, organized, and highly committed to each student’s progress. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming for top-band results, I tailor every lesson to their goals, learning style, and school requirements. Hi! I’m Tiana, an English Extension 2, Extension 1 and English Advanced graduate who recently completed the HSC at the highest level in NSW. My approach to tutoring focuses on clarity, confidence, and personalised support. I’ve been tutoring for over three years, working with students of all abilities, and I understand the curriculum deeply as a recent graduate myself.
I break English down into clear, manageable steps so students understand not only what to write, but why it works. My lessons focus on:
-Explaining complex ideas in simple, memorable ways
-Strengthening essay structure, textual analysis, and creative writing
-Helping students develop strong thesis statements and arguments
-Modelling Band 6 writing and guiding students to apply high-level techniques
