About Spencer
I am from New York, and currently study at Northwestern University. I transferred from Emory University after Freshman year. I excelled at many of the classes I took in high school and got a 35 ACT (I can tutor that as well haha). I take tutoring seriously as I valued it myself when I studied with a tutor (back in high school). The approach in which I tutor is the same approach I take in my studies...which has worked so far :).

I use a building block approach to my tutoring. I make sure students understand the underlying concepts before moving onto the more complicated ones. For example, making sure students have a firm enough grasp on advanced algebra before working through calculus concepts. I can teach students from algebra and geometry through multivariable calculus. In physics, I can tutor introductory physics to first year undergrad physics (AP Physics C). Let me know if there are any other subjects you would like me to tutor as I am proficient in many different fields. For example, I studied piano for 12 years and took numerous AP courses in high school. I also applied to over 20 schools if you want help for college apps.

Spencer is a trustworthy teacher because he is always available for help and is truly dedicated to helping every single student that needs help. Spencer will 100% devote his time and effort into making sure the student understands the work they are provided and is confident in his abilities.
Spencer is someone that is very easy going. He is kind and always know what to do whatever I have planned for that day. When we are doing a topic he always has extra work to help me on if I don’t have any for him. I try to have a list of all the things on my test before I take it, so with Spencer I can go over each topic with him and create practice problems with him for each topic. He doesn’t make me rush my work and he goes over each question very clearly so I know how to do it. For the questions that I don’t know he creates extra practice problems for those questions. When I say he is easy going I mean it he is very smart and knows so much.
