About Alicja
I take a patient and supportive approach to tutoring, focusing on building students’ confidence as well as their understanding of maths. My aim is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and developing at their own pace.
With previous experience tutoring GCSE Maths students alongside my studies, I understand how to explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching to different learning styles. I always ensure lessons are structured, focused, and tailored to the student’s specific goals, whether that is improving grades, strengthening foundations, or preparing for exams.

I aim to create a supportive and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence in maths. I understand that many students find maths stressful or intimidating, so I focus on explaining concepts clearly and adapting lessons to students’ individual needs.
I began tutoring KS3 and GCSE Maths students while studying for my A-levels in Loughborough, and continued tutoring throughout my degree in Radiotherapy and Oncology at UWE Bristol. At one point I was tutoring 8 regular GCSE Maths students alongside my studies.
My lessons are mainly aimed at KS3 and GCSE Maths students, particularly those looking to improve confidence and strengthen their core maths skills in a calm and encouraging environment.
