About Joey
I graduated from Widener University in the spring of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and minors in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. I am enrolled in a graduate program in physics at the City College of New York.
I have 3+ years of tutoring experience in math, physics, and engineering. As an undergraduate I tutored part-time through the math department and department of academic services at Widener University. After graduation, I began private tutoring and tutoring through Varsity Tutors.

I primarily teach college level mathematics and physics. Within mathematics I cover everything from introductory courses such as Calculus 1 and 2 through Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Complex Analysis. I am also comfortable tutoring introductory through senior level physics courses. I have found that the most effective way to teach these subjects is through demonstration and then allowing the student to practice problems on their own, helping them along the way.
