Teaching method and techniques:
I take a concept-first approach, using real-world examples from my research to make abstract ideas stick. I adapt to each student's learning style and ask questions rather than just giving answers so students build real confidence.
A typical lesson plan:
We start by identifying where the student feels least confident, work through those areas together using diagrams and practice questions, then wrap up with a clear focus point for next time.
What sets me apart:
6 years of active neuroscience research experience means I bring depth to the material that goes beyond the textbook. I know how to break down complex science clearly because that's literally my job!

High school students in AP Biology or AP Psychology, undergraduates in intro biology, neuroscience, or behavioral science courses, and pre-med students looking to strengthen their science foundation.
