About Emma
I recently graduated college with a B.S. in Neuroscience and am now pursuing my goal of becoming a dentist. I understand how complex the subject of neuroscience can be, as it encompasses many of the natural sciences, and I love sharing my appreciation for the subject with others! My tutoring journey started in college and since then I have helped students with college-level neuroscience classes as well as prepare for their local Brain Bee competition!

During my neuroscience lessons, I make use of diagrams and drawings to help students visualize complex concepts. I love recommending specific animations or study techniques so that the learning can continue after our session. I always check understanding with some practice problems so my students feel confident in the material!
