About George
Hi! My name is George and I’m a recent Neuroscience graduate with a passion for biology and science education. I know that science can sometimes feel overwhelming, but with the right approach, it becomes fascinating and accessible. My goal is to help students gain confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their best results. I believe in interactive, engaging teaching that encourages curiosity, critical thinking and ultimately making complex topics easier to grasp. Whether you’re preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, or just looking to strengthen your science knowledge, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. I focus on making biology and science engaging, structured, and easy to understand. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they require help with exam preparation, understanding complex topics, or improving study techniques. I use active learning methods, including interactive discussions, real-world examples, visual aids, and practice questions to reinforce key concepts. Teaching Methodology & Techniques: Concept Breakdown: I simplify complex biological processes into clear, manageable steps. Active Engagement: I encourage students to ask questions and think critically. Exam Focused: I provide past paper practice, mark scheme analysis, and study strategies. Interactive Resources: I use diagrams, videos, and real-life applications to enhance learning. Lesson Structure: Typical Length: 60 minutes, but can be adjusted based on the student’s needs. Format: Online lessons via Zoom or preferred platform, using screen sharing and interactive tools. Qualifications & Experience: Neuroscience Graduate with strong expertise in cell biology, genomics, and chemistry. Experience in academic research, using analytical and problem-solving skills to explain scientific concepts clearly. Passionate about helping students improve their confidence and achieve academic success.
