About Valerie
Tracing the ghost of ivory keys against my fingertips reminds me of the rigid discipline I absorbed during my 13 years of study under a Curtis Institute alum. My MMus and MSM degrees provide the bedrock for teaching rhythm, timing, and pedaling, yet I find true clarity in supporting students with ADHD, autism, or dyslexia. Hand independence, jazz improvisation, sight transposition, and accompaniment skills become accessible through adaptive notation.

My 13 years of experience as an MMus holder allow me to deconstruct complex technical hurdles into intuitive segments that suit your specific neurotype. Since my background is rooted in the Curtis lineage, I ensure the 10 minute warm-ups are as rigorous as they are functional.
