As a dedicated Natural Sciences graduate from UCL achieving First, I combine a strong academic background with a genuine passion for teaching. With A* grades in Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths, and Biology at A-level, as well as 9 A*’s at GCSE, I have a proven record of academic excellence. My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Methodology I believe in a highly personalised approach to tutoring, where each lesson is carefully tailored to the individual student’s strengths, gaps, and learning style. I begin by assessing the student’s current understanding and areas for improvement, then design targeted lesson plans that mix clear concept explanations, exam-style questions, and interactive quizzes. This keeps lessons engaging and ensures consistent progress. I also focus on building exam technique and effective revision strategies, so students can study confidently and independently outside of our sessions. My aim is to make science and maths both interesting and accessible, helping students develop a genuine understanding and lasting confidence in the subject. Typical Lesson Length Most of my lessons are 60 minutes long, which I find is the ideal length to cover new material, review previous content, and practise exam questions without overwhelming the student. Qualifications and Experience I am a recent Natural Sciences graduate from UCL, achieving a First, with A* grades in Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths, and Biology at A-level, and 9 A*’s at GCSE. I have experience tutoring students from Primary to A-level, and have received excellent feedback from both students and parents for helping learners achieve their best possible grades. Who the Lessons Are For I offer tutoring for students at Primary school level and GCSE, in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English. My lessons are suitable for students of all abilities who want to improve their understanding, boost their grades, or gain confidence in these subjects.
