About Tugba
I am a PhD researcher and a native Turkish speaker who is passionate about teaching and learning. I love the interaction between cultures and enjoy meeting people from diverse backgrounds. I deeply respect anyone who decides to learn a new language, and I find this process inspiring. I want to support my students’ development by sharing my knowledge in a professional, supportive, and encouraging way, while also learning from them.

My private tutoring approach is student-centred, supportive, and tailored to individual needs. As a PhD researcher, I offer strong academic expertise in academic English and research skills. I am a native Turkish speaker with advanced English proficiency and nearly five years of experience teaching English to refugees in the UK. This has shaped my inclusive, patient, and culturally sensitive teaching style.
