I combine my native Turkish fluency with over a decade of professional teaching experience to deliver engaging, highly effective language lessons. Because of my strong background in inclusive education, I excel at breaking down complex language structures (such as Turkish agglutinative and vowel harmony) into simple, digestible pieces. I do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach; instead, I continuously adapt my pacing, materials, and teaching style to fit exactly how you learn best.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Every learner's journey is different, but a typical session is thoughtfully structured to maximize your progress:
Conversational Warm-Up: We begin with light conversation or a review of previous material to build your confidence and get you thinking in Turkish.
Targeted Instruction: I introduce new vocabulary or grammar concepts using real-life, practical scenarios rather than dry textbook drills.
Interactive Practice: We practice together through role-play, reading short texts, or listening exercises. I incorporate rich cultural insights so you learn the language exactly as it is spoken in Türkiye today.
Feedback & Goal Setting: We wrap up with constructive feedback and clear, manageable goals for our next session.
