About Maya
Hi! I'm a third year Social Anthropology student at the University of Manchester. I started teaching both English and Spanish 4 years ago, when I moved to Italy to learn the language. Growing up bilingual I already had an interest in languages, which further developed during my time in Italy. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, as I love chatting with people, and am passionate about the Spanish language - having fun is essential for both me and my students to ensure that there is a safe and relaxed environment to learn in!

Personally, I've found conversation lessons to be the most effective for learning any language. Enjoying learning is an essential part of the process, and I believe conversation is the best way to achieve that. However I do acknowledge some people prefer more structured methods of learning, focusing on grammar and vocabulary, which I am happy to provide as well. I am very adaptable to individual needs, all levels welcome!
My lessons usually last between 45 minutes and 1 hour and a half.
