About Jacob
I’m a native Swedish speaker based in Los Angeles, and I enjoy helping others discover the Swedish language and culture in a friendly and approachable way. Having lived both in Sweden and the United States, I understand the challenges of learning and communicating in another language.

My lessons are relaxed, practical, and personalized to each student’s goals. As a native Swedish speaker, I can help you build confidence in speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and everyday conversation.
I focus on teaching Swedish in a natural and approachable way, including how the language is actually spoken in Sweden. Lessons can be adapted for complete beginners, intermediate students, travelers, professionals, or anyone who wants to become more comfortable speaking Swedish.
A typical lesson may include conversation practice, pronunciation, useful vocabulary, grammar, and real-life examples based on your interests and level. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at your own pace.
