About Yamila
I am a qualified Spanish teacher working in a successful Secondary School in London, with 8 years of GCSE and A-Level teaching experience. I specialise in helping students build confidence, improve their grades, and prepare successfully for their exams. My lessons are patient, structured and engaging, and I always adapt the pace and resources to each student’s needs so they feel supported and motivated while learning.

I use a variety of authentic, interactive resources to make Spanish practical, enjoyable and meaningful. Each session is planned with intention so students can build confidence, improve accuracy and make consistent, visible progress.

The hourly rate includes personalised lesson planning, preparation of resources, homework review and feedback. Online lessons are recommended for exam preparation as this allows interactive materials and faster progress tracking. Travel fees may vary depending on distance. The free 30-minute first lesson is an introductory meeting to discuss goals, level and learning plan (not a full teaching session). Exam boards: Edexcel & AQA.
