About José
¡Hola! I'm José Camargo — a native Spanish speaker from Bogotá, Colombia, fluent in four languages (Spanish, English, French, and German), with over four years of teaching experience across all ages and levels.
I currently work as an instructor at HOLA Spanish Classes in Toronto, and I hold an ICOES-accredited certificate in ELE (Spanish Language Teaching). My approach blends cultural immersion with practical language development, drawing on my diverse academic background:
- MA in Film Directing from the prestigious Filmakademie Wien (in German!)
- BA in Philosophy & Psychology with First-Class Honours from McGill University
- Proficient in Legal and Medical Interpretation through MCIS Language Solutions
