About Caitlin
Hi! I'm a friendly native Spanish and English speaker offering grinds for primary school, junior cycle and leaving cert. I grew up in Spain, as my father is Spanish, and now live in Ireland, as my mother is Irish, meaning I'm fully fluent in both languages!! I just did the leaving cert in 2022 and got a H1 (top mark) in Spanish :) I have been giving Spanish grinds since I was 15 (to people older than me sitting their leaving certs) giving me 6 years experience!

I tailor how I teach to every student differently. For older students, of course, the end goal is exams, but I want to be able to approach the subject in an enjoyable way, inspiring them to work harder at Spanish. I start by assessing the level of the student, setting goals, and then working hard to achieve them. For younger students, it's about instilling an interest in learning the language, making it cheerful and fun! I do this by using games and worksheets to make a scary, unknown language a simple and enjoyable activity.
