About Naiara
My name is Naiara, and I was born and raised in Madrid, Spain. I am a scientist by training, but teaching has always been my true passion. A year and a half ago, I moved to New York, where I began teaching Spanish—and I absolutely love it! Outside of teaching, I enjoy dancing, painting, and all forms of artistic expression. I have over 12 years of experience teaching chemistry and mathematics to teenagers and adults, as well as laboratory classes at the university level. Since moving to the U.S., I have been focusing on teaching Spanish, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

I believe that learning a language should be fun and stress-free. I adapt lessons to your interests—for example, we might practice reading comprehension with texts about your hobbies, or work on listening skills using your favorite Spanish songs. I also love teaching proverbs, cultural references, and authentic expressions from different Spanish-speaking countries so your Spanish feels natural and real.
